The course takes you through some of the green spaces of beautiful Chislehurst where London meets the countryside. The route includes Scadbury Nature Reserve which was once the home of the Walsingham family.

Owing to the terrain, the course is unsuitable for wheelchair entrants. Should blind runners wish to enter they would need to be led by an experienced half marathon runner owing to the length and difficulty of the course, especially the numerous tree roots along the woodland sections.
The course difficulty rating is 7/10, with 50% on undulating trails and 50% on pavement or paths, the event is considered to be of medium difficulty but within the ability of all reasonably fit runners.
Please note that the route may be subject to change at the organisers' discretion. We modified the original route for 2019 due to police support for a road closure no longer being available, and there will be no further change for 2024.
