Personal data usage

You agree that we may publish your personal information as part of the results of the event and may pass such information to the governing body or any affiliated organisation for the purpose of insurance, licences or for publishing results either for the event alone or combined with or compared to other events. Results may include (but not be limited to) name, age category, any club affiliation, race position and race times.

Use of images and sounds

The event may be televised, filmed and/or otherwise recorded and photographs may be taken all of which may capture your participation in the event. You agree to the publication of such photographs, filming, recording and broadcasts and their use by us and those authorised by us in any way which we may see fit now or in the future including but not limited to film, broadcast, radio, TV, publications and publicity.

Any audio, visual, or audio-visual recordings that you make of the event or any part of it are for personal use only and may not be used for any commercial purpose.

Personal audio players

Due to the nature of the race, the use of any equipment that impairs participants' ability to hear ambient sound during the event is not permitted. Please note that you may be held liable if found to be responsible for harm to yourself or any third party as a result of using such equipment. The use of bone conduction headsets which do not block the user's ears is, however, acceptable. Participants will be running on, near and across roads that are not wholly closed to traffic, as well as on footpaths that may be narrow in places. Participants should be aware of and responsive to what is happening around them, including: warnings, instructions, other runners, traffic, emergency vehicles, etc.. Output from personal audio players should not be audible to anyone else. We hope that participants will enjoy the race atmosphere, including social interaction, comradery and possibly even some birdsong in the beautiful natural surroundings.
